Job Summary:
The role should be viewed as customer facing as a Technician will spend a high proportion of their working day completing installation/assembly services in customers\xe2\x80\x99 homes. Technicians operate as a member of the Customer Delivery team based in one of the Customer Delivery Hubs.
As a driver for the Partnership, you will promote the Partnership brand through a professional and courteous manner to other road users.
Hours of work
41 Hours a week
Monday to Saturdays (3 in 5)
Our Drivers work 4 days out of 6 (Monday - Saturday) which means you\xe2\x80\x99ll enjoy 3 days off each week to maintain a healthy work/life balance. We also offer overtime when required so there\xe2\x80\x99s potential to top up your earnings.

Job Requirements:
This role requires a high degree of technical competence and a desire to develop performance for oneself, colleagues and the business. Technicians should openly demonstrate a passion for delivering excellence in customer experience, safe and efficient driving and be motivated to carry out their role following legal and best practice requirements.
Acting as an ambassador for the John Lewis brand, they are focused on delivering and surpassing the exemplary service expected of us. Technicians should also accurately adhere to the business systems and processes to minimise costs.
Takes responsibility for own learning and self development and plays an active role in department activity.
Demonstrates a flexible and positive approach to tasks and uses skills and knowledge to support coach, train and assess. Works in other areas of the Customer Delivery operation as requested by Management.
Required essential experience skills and qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Must be aged 18 or over
A valid C1 Driving Licence (with a maximum of 6 points)
Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)
Drivers Qualification Card (DQC)
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Essential Experience:
Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle
Strong verbal communication skills both over the phone and face to face
Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role
Desirable Experience:
Good local geographical knowledge
Installation and disconnection of white goods
TV installations
Assembly of flat packs
