The primary responsibility of this role involves serving as a certified controller with Banksman training. Your duties will include coordinating with delivery drivers and internal staff to ensure proper access and drop-off points in the loading bay area. Operating within a team of officers, your role encompasses effective communication and the delivery of precise instructions to individuals in your vicinity. Managing the dynamic and bustling loading bay environment demands both precision and a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations.
Hourly Pay Rate: \xc2\xa313.50
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (07:00 to 19:00)

Minimum Requirements:

• Banksman Training Certificate
• 2 Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working within a 5* hotel or corporate environment.
• A valid DS licence.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Be responsive to the clients need and work in partnership with the client and other suppliers to support the delivery of the services.
• Must be able to work under pressure, be able to make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
• Strong knowledge of site processes and procedures.
• Professional & Personable.
• Immaculate presentation.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• 5-Year employment / educational history.

• Proven experience in Front of House / Customer Service or relevant roles in an advantage
• Traffic Marshal Certification
• Bilingual
• Emergency First Aid Certificate.
• ACT training Certificate.
• Conflict management training.
• Be able to use two-way radio\xe2\x80\x99s

• Work in the loading bay entrance and Gatehouse, checking vehicle entry verification and logging
• Able to respond to emergency incidents
• Carry out first aid response when needed
• Carry out banksman duties when required (Training will be given)
• Accept deliveries in the absence of post room staff
• Carry out any other reasonable management requests
• To supervise couriers/contractors and give guidance
• Opening and closing of Loading Bay
• Report any Health & Safety hazards on loading bay and loading bay dock
• To communicate with onsite partners
