360 Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of excavation processes and demonstrate proficiency in operating excavators for various construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that excavation tasks are completed efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success or our operations.

About us:

South Wales Sports Grounds Ltd (SWSGL) operates throughout Wales and into England. We undertake contracts for a range of clients, including local authorities, major contracting groups, universities, colleges, individual sports clubs and private clients. Established in 1964, SWSGL has cultivated a reputation as one of the leading sports surface contractors in the region.

Responsibilities:

Operate excavators to perform digging, trenching and grading tasks as required on construction sites.

Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.

Collaborate with Site Supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Key Requirements:

Must be able to grade

Must be able to form bunds and swales

Must be willing to jump out of the machine and support colleagues as and when required.

Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience

Must have CPCS Blue card.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 41.5 per week
