Summary

We are seeking a talented Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Cornerhouse in Lancaster. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the kitchen team in preparing high-quality meals that meet our standards. Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and excellence. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment adhering to food safety regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service for guests. Develop new menu items that align with our brand's vision and customer preferences.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
