To apply for this scheme, you will have less than 12 months relevant work experience and have a degree or are expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronic & Electrical Engineering
• Architectural Engineering
• Engineering Science specialising in electrical
• Power Systems Engineering
• Instrumentation and Control (for nuclear and energy opportunities)
• Telecommunications (for rail opportunities)

In your application you should be able to demonstrate your interest in the role and working at Mott MacDonald through relevant experience, such as studying relevant modules, or previous work experience.

We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:

• Methodical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing.

Building Services: Our graduate building services engineers are responsible for the functional design which takes buildings from an empty shell to a pleasant space to live and work in. Our teams are responsible for ensuring health and safety requirements are met, while creating a visually appealing and comfortable environment. Energy: Today, the realities of our world are transforming the energy sector at an unprecedented rate. Working closely with our clients, our technical experts are opening opportunities to develop responsible solutions that meet increasing demand as well as reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Within our Energy team, you can consider a role within the following teams:

• Transmission & Distribution
• Nuclear
• Oil & Gas
• Thermal Generation

Transport: Transport plays a key role in moving goods within and out-side a country, mobilising the population of all ages, and ensuring sustained economic growth. We look at how connectivity can improve social and economic benefits, alleviate poverty, and reduce inequality. Within our Transport team, you can consider a role within the following teams:

• Rail Systems
• Tunnel Systems
• Rolling Stock
• Highways & Intelligent Systems

Water Treatment: Water is essential to our everyday lives. Being able to transport and treat water from source to tap relies on the use of adequate electrical equipment, whose efficiency is key to achieve the water industry net zero commitments. With our water teams, you\'ll be involved in a range of projects; from sewage electrical systems pumps to the design of electrical elements in water and wastewater treatment works.
