Job Description
As a 1st Line Software Support Technician in growing IT department, you will provide first line support to the organisations IT hardware and applications.
The successful 1st Line Software Support Technician will;
- Be responsible for offering technical support to a large, multi-site user base
- Good attention to detail, good people and literacy skills
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be a team player
- The desire to learn and develop new skills
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
- Take full ownership of issues
- Always being willing to find answers
- Managing escalations
- Troubleshooting issues in a thorough and consistent manner
- To be a logical thinker and act on their own initiative
The successful 1st Line Software Support Technician will;
- Experience in 1st Line, Service Desk, or Sys Admin.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent IT software/hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience in delivering client support in ERP solution
- Experience using digital accounting platforms and common add-on applications are desirable.
- Good knowledge Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365
