Job Description
Anderson Knight are recruiting a HR Advisor for one of our clients, a well known manufacturer based in West Lothian. This is a full time, permanent position, reporting into the Head of HR. You will play a vital role in supporting their employees and driving HR initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR generalist looking to further their career in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on a range of HR matters, including ER, performance management, and absence management.
- Managing the employee life cycle, including recruitment, on boarding, performance management, and off boarding.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are in compliance with current employment legislation.
- Conduct investigations and disciplinary meetings when necessary, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Manage employee records, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR practices.
- Minimum of 1 year of HR Advisor experience in a similar role.
- CIPD qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR practices.
- Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous, but not essential.
